BURNED QUESTIONS
from our Film Festival run

#1: "How can I see Burning Annie?"

We are not selling copies of the film at this time, as we are just ending a fun and successful film festival run (six awards to date!). So for the time being, film festivals are the exclusive place to see Burning Annie. Get on our Newsletter to get the latest festival news, and check out the SCREENINGS page.

#2: "When is the next screening?"

We have played nearly two dozen film festivals so far, and after six awards, we are only playing festival on an invitational basis. Any future screenings will be listed on our SCREENINGS page and in our Newsletter.

#3: "When is Burning Annie coming to my area?"

That's up to you! Please TELL US about film festivals in your area and we will do our best to screen there.

The other thing you can do is take the long view. You see, gentle reader, the very BEST way to get Burning Annie to your neighborhood is to get a distributor (such as Lion's Gate, Miramax, 2929, Focus Features, Fox Searchlight, etc) to release the movie in theaters around the country. They will do this if they believe there is enough interest. Your job is to convince them that there is enough interest! Sounds daunting? It really isn't so hard, if everyone helps just a little bit...

 ...which brings us to...

#4: "Is there any way that I, a regular Joe many miles away who is no relation to Mark Cuban, can help?"

Yes indeed! Here are some things you can do that won't cost you a dime and only take a few minutes--

-- call your local film festival and ask if they're showing BA. If/when they say they've never heard of it, tell 'em about it and send 'em to our website! (Search filmfestivals.com for the ones in your area)

-- tell your indie film geek and/or Woody Allen fan friends, and have them spread the word. Don't forget the power of the internet! A single website post about BA could be seen by thousands of people. (Every major film-related website has a discussion board, sometimes many.)

...and the most helpful thing of all:

-- talk to the manager of your favorite independent movie theater, and ask them about the film. If/when they've never heard of it-- and this is the key part!-- ask them to ask the distributors they do business with! (and in the meantime, send 'em to our website)

It may sound like a little weird, but it is one of the best and surest ways for distributors to hear "advance buzz" about a movie! Your efforts might be the difference between success and failure.
