* FESTIVAL SEASON IS UPON US!
* Fresh on the heels of our BEST FEATURE FILM jury prize at the MassBay Film Festival, Burning Annie is coming back to Worcester, MA. in time for Clark University's Commencement/Alumni Weekend. Saturday, May 22, at 4pm in Razzo Hall on the Clark campus (in the Traina Center for the Arts). Professor Tim Shary will host a pre-show lecture at 3:30pm, plus the post-show Q&A (with surprise guests!) as part of the Alumni Dept's "Back to the Class" events. A must-attend for Clarkies, Massholes, and Beantowners alike!Ê(Free admission, open to the public)
* A huge THANKS to everyone who attended the West Virginia Int'l Film Festival, where Burning Annie was the Opening Night Feature. The enthusiasm was tremendous, and it was so great to finally bring the film back to where it was made! If you live in the Kentucky/Ohio/WV tri-state area and missed the event, don't worry-- Burning Annie will be coming back to West Virginia soon. Maybe as soon as early June! * The latest FILM FESTIVAL news is that we've been accepted to play at festivals in Indonesia and Australia! Look for the official announcements soon. BA being considered by many, many U.S. film festivals at this time-- and yes, some of them have already said we're in (!) but we can't say anything yet-- so we're going to have to be patient while waiting for news. (Yes, I know, "booooo....")

* More screening info! HUGE NEWS-- BA has been selected by the IFP/west to be in their New Film Works series, which screens every month at the Silver Screen Theater in the incomparable Pacific Design Center of Los Angeles. It looks like September is probably going to be our month! The only hitch is that we need to find a digital projector and deck. Please drop us a line if you might be able to help hook us up with a vendor who wants to work with the IFP, aka the largest indie film organization in the world. :-)
* Thanks to whoever posted news of Burning Annie on Kevin Smith's website. :-) It brought a huge amount of traffic to us and opened the film up to a shitload of "target demographic" film nuts (ie. Kevin Smith fans!). Keep spreading the word, guys!
