* Burning Annie rolls on...!!
This issue: More screenings and other mayhem

 *  NEW SCREENING #1: The Rhode Island International Film Festival in Providence, RI. Festival is August 10-15, but the early word is that BA is going to be schedule for the weekend, August 13-15. Check our Screenings page and the RIIFF website for showtimes and venues in the next week.

 *  NEW SCREENING #2: The West Virginia Filmmakers Film Festival in Sutton, WV. Festival is held at the Landmark Studio for the Arts, running October 1-3. BA is showing Saturday, October 2, in the evening. Check our Screenings page and the WVFFF website for exact times in the next week or so.

 * NEW SCREENING #3: Our first international event! The Australia Festival of Jewish Cinema has chosen BA for its 2004 program. The AFJC happens simultaneously in Melbourne and Sydney every November. The AFJC website is under construction but will be up soon. In the meantime, our Screenings page will have all the key updates about this special event.

 * As reported, BA has been selected by the IFP/west to be in the New Film Works series, which screens every month at the Silver Screen Theater in the incomparable Pacific Design Center of Los Angeles. It looks like September or October will be our month-- it all depends on finding a digital projector and deck for the event. (Being the first digital feature invited to this event is great but has its drawbacks! ;-) Please drop us a line if you have access to this equipment, or if you might be able to help hook us up with a vendor who wants to work with the IFP, aka the largest indie film organization in the world. :-)

 * ON THE HORIZON: We're in consideration at many of the key Fall festivals, including Toronto, Telluride, Woodstock, New Orleans, St. Louis, SilverLake, Hawaii, Sidewalk, Chicago, Milwaukee, and San Diego. If you live near any of these, give 'em a call and voice your support for BA's presence in this year's festival! And if you don't, you can email me and tell me about the film festivals near you.

 * The Summer Sale at the BA Merch Depot ends at 11:59pm Monday July 5th... So get the lead out, slacker!

 *  Burning Annie Fun Facts-- The Burning Annie Newsletter has nearly 300 people on it, who represent ~30 states and seven countries (US, Canada, England, Australia, France, Scotland, and Russia). If only we could get everyone together for a party!

 * HAPPY INDEPENDENCE DAY! May every place in the world soon have their own.

 All the best to everyone!
_Randy

"Strikes so close to home that it's impossible
to think about it in any sort of detached sense.
Succeeds in conjuring the tone and spirit
of 'Annie Hall'-- a remarkable thing, indeed.
BURNING ANNIE MAY BE THE BEST MOVIE
      	    	I'VE SEEN THIS YEAR."
				           - Entertainment Today

"Clearly a labor of love.
	 The best romantic comedy I've
seen in years. A GREAT FILM."
                	 	- MSNBC

"At once touching and funny, but
	 never cloying or cute-- credit
the deft writing and camera work.
	 Add an excellent score and
THIS LITTLE FILM COMES UP BIG."
               			- E. Hampton Independent

"Likable-- tons of 'tude!
	SMART-ASS PUNS, WITTY REPARTEE,
      	 sardonic asides, and
	   SHARP SOCIAL OBSERVATIONS.
	        Kim Murphy is luminous."
                		- Daily Variety
